I managed to snap a pic of these to male and female eastern bluebirds. These birds are fascinating and beautiful, though are becoming uncommon. Few people ever see a whole family of bluebirds even though they were as commin as the american robin!!! They had to compete for nesting with starlings and sparrows. Now they have bluebird conservation to get rid of pesky starlings, which are invasive and a threat to crops and other birds such as the eastern bluebird.
